Mike Lee developed an amazing talent for his performance of Okinawa-Te katas such as the Falling Leaf, the Bear, and the Sword & Hammer.  His super acrobatic performances commanded audiences to rise to their feet with standing ovations.  During the 1970‘s prestigious 4 Seasons Tournament competition Mike Lee performed the Bear form to a packed auditorium of martial arts enthusiasts.  Glen Hoyen remarked, “I was preparing to fight an opponent in the sparring area, looked toward Mike Lee in the kata division and saw him leap six feet or more into the air--he was in a kneeling position and flying over the heads of the judges. It was impossible--my mouth dropped.”

Mike Lee currently lives in New Zealand where he teaches martial arts and pursues other business ventures.
